Light and movement: Nice enters FontanaArte’s share capital. An ideal combination of two companies boasting a strong historical focus on design and innovation for the home

 

To confirm its commitment to growth started in the last three years, today Nice has announced to the financial community the agreement on a new important investment: the acquisition of the majority share capital of FontanaArte SpA, a historical Milan company founded in 1932 by the architect Gio Ponti, recognized in Italy and abroad to have marked the “history in lighting and furnishings”.

FontanaArte, a brand that stands for excellence in the lighting systems and furnishing accessories sector, boasts a long history of collaborations with some of the best Italian and international architects and designers and, in recent years, has become a major player in the contracts segment, having completed technical lighting projects.

This transaction marks a union of two leading Made in Italy names, which have distinguished themselves for their innovation, quality, service, design and prestige, the key qualities which foster the competitive advantage so often enjoyed by Italian companies at the international level:
