Nice acquires the elero Group, leader in the manufacture of automation systems for sun protections

 

Nice has launched an important announcement to the market: the acquisition of the majority share capital of elero, the German Group that is active in the home automation sector with a turnover of more than 50 million euros, 2 production plants, 9 subsidiaries and a staff of over 500.

Situated near Stuttgart, elero is a historic brand of excellence in the sector, offering a wide range of automation and control systems for roller shutters, sun awnings and rolling doors; established in 1964, the elero Group is well-known at international level thanks to its innovative technology and high quality standard: elero developed the first tubular motor, thereby paving the way for the electric motorization of roller shutters and sun protection systems. This was the origin of the company's name: elero - electrical roller.

For Nice the acquisition of the elero Group represents the attainment of a fundamental objective for creating a major presence in German speaking Countries, but especially the opportunity to offer a wide range of products, unique in its sector, for the automation of all types of internal and external solar protection for buildings, in particular regarding application for moveable facades.
