The automation is obtained by simply inserting the motor, known as tubular due to its form, inside the tube around which the blind is wound. Control can be from the immediate vicinity, with a simple wall-mounted control, or via radio with a portable radio control.

The motor moves smoothly in order to have a screen which is always taut and is available with an emergency manoeuvre which can be used during black-outs to action the blind.
 

This solution avoids the cost and burden of masonry or the installation of unsightly cable ducts for routing control cables.
 

With an automated awning you'll save time, as you won't need to manually raise or lower each single awning; you'll save money, as you’ll have an energetic saving thanks to the device that controls the awnings opening and closing, depending on the weather conditions, which increase the thermal efficiency of the house. In order to choose the ideal automation you'll need to know: the diameter of the tube around which the awning rolls, how much the awning protrudes and the number of arms of the structure.

The box awnings protect the screen in a better way and keep unaltered the architectonic setting in which they are placed.

Arbour awning or wintergarden are medium to large covering systems right to protect verandas, external areas of bars, restaurants or penthouses and private gardens.
They slide on lateral drivers or on a metallic structure to make even external areas places to live during each different season.

What is the difference between an automation with cable control and a one with radio control?

In a wired system, via cables, the control is connected to the tubular motor by means of electric cables that transmit the commands to the motor, and the control unit can be built into the motor or concealed in the vicinity.

On radio systems, the controls are transmitted via radio waves. There are no electric cables between the motor and control. The control is mobile and therefore the user can operate the blinds also from another room. Installation of this type of system is quicker and avoids the need for building work.

Is the awning safe in case of strong winds?

The climatic sensors detect strong winds and make the awning roll up, protecting it, so that the awning structure and screen will last longer.
The luminosity sensor lowers the screen to protect the terrace and the inside of your house from the sun's light and heat.
