Nice is Open Factory!

On Sunday 29 November Nice opened its doors to the local community on the occasion of Open Factory, the event dedicated to “industrial tourism” promoted by CulT Venezie - The European Forum of Culture and Creativity in order to give enterprises of the Italian North-East the opportunity to tell their own story and showcase their manufacturing expertise.
Nice joined the initiative with enthusiasm, inviting the local community to visit the Headquarters, the garden and the new social hub TheNicePlace. Several guided tours were organized during the afternoon: architect Carlo Dal Bo, who directed the Headquarters’ construction works, conducted the visits to the structure, while groups visiting the Nice Garden were accompanied by landscape architect Anna Costa, who designed it and supervised its realization. On the other hand, within TheNicePlace the Nice team guided visitors in the discovery of the temporary exhibition Shapes of Heart, curated by Wurbs, and of the area dedicated to FontanaArte’s lights. In the meanwhile, children enjoyed their time taking part in creative laboratories specifically organized for them to experience, through play and amusement, the Nice space.
It was a really exciting afternoon for Nice, which welcomed over 500 visitors. Thank you everybody for your participation!
