Nice People Spotlight: Danielle Karr
22 July 2025
At Nice North America, we believe in the power of strategic alignment to drive meaningful growth—and the people behind that vision are at the heart of everything we do.
Meet our VP of Marketing, Danielle Karr: a purpose-driven leader who’s passionate about turning bold ideas into business impact. With a clear focus on partnership, collaboration, and amplifying the voices behind our solutions, she’s redefining what it means for marketing to lead from the front—creating value not just for our brand, but for every partner we serve.
What first drew you to join Nice, and how has your journey evolved since then?
What initially drew me to Nice was the opportunity to build something meaningful. The company has a strong portfolio—and I saw a chance to apply my experience and passion for this industry to help elevate it to the next level. Since joining, my journey has been focused on transforming marketing into a true growth driver—one that champions the people bringing our solutions to life every day: our partners.
What’s the most valuable lesson you've learned at Nice so far?
Alignment is everything. When Sales, Product, and Marketing move in lockstep—and when we put the partner experience at the heart of that alignment—we unlock a whole new level of impact. It’s not about doing more; it’s about doing more of what matters, together.
Can you walk us through a typical day in your role?
No two days look the same—which is part of what I love about this role! Most days include leading strategic planning with my team, reviewing campaign results, syncing with Sales on opportunities, and collaborating with Product to ensure we’re telling the right stories. I also spend a lot of time listening—to our partners, customers, and internal teams—so we can keep refining how we show up and serve.
What makes you feel most connected to the team, even on busy days?
Honestly, it’s the team itself. I’m constantly inspired by their creativity, resilience, and the way they show up for each other—and for our partners. Even on the busiest days, there’s a shared energy and sense of purpose. The way this team collaborates, lifts each other up, and still finds time to laugh reminds me why the work matters—and why I’m proud to be in it with them.
What’s a book, podcast, or show you’ve loved lately?
I recently read Working Backwards. It’s a behind-the-scenes look at how Amazon approaches innovation, and its focus on starting with the customer (or in our case, the partner) really hit home. It reinforced how we think about prioritizing every campaign, launch, and touchpoint.
What’s one hobby or interest that helps you recharge outside of work?
Spending time outdoors with my family and our dogs is my reset button. Whether it’s hiking a local trail, camping in a national park, or just soaking in some fresh air, those moments bring perspective and help me return with renewed energy and clarity.
