Meet Donnie McVicker, Chief Sales Officer at Nice: a dynamic leader with a drive for collaboration, a love for building high-performing teams, and a deep-rooted passion for the legacy and future of our brands.
Though new to the organization, Donnie is already making an impact, committed to driving shared success across our diverse product lines and sales teams.
How long have you been at Nice and what do you enjoy the most about working here?
I am new to Nice; May 30th was my third month.
If you had to summarize the experience of working at Nice in three words, what would they be?
Exciting, Passion, Legacy.
Which of our products and solutions are you most passionate about?
I have a long history with the Control and Security brands, so I am naturally passionate about those, specifically the Control Brand. Panamax was the first brand that I ever learned to sell on the AV side of the business. With that being said, I am super excited to learn more about the products and customers on our Gate/Door/HySecurity side of the business.
What is your favorite way to spend a weekend?
A perfect weekend day would be a Fall Saturday watching the Georgia Bulldogs play football at Sanford Stadium with 100,000 of my closest Dawg fans!! Otherwise, spending time with my family or playing golf is an awesome way to spend the weekend.
What motivates you to do your best work?
I am 100% driven by the people that I work for. I love to win, but what is more impactful for me is to win with my entire sales team. I am passionate and love every second of growing, leading, and driving a team to win together.
What would be your walk-on song?
This is a tough one, with so many good options. I will go with Can’t Hold Us, by Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.
What has been your proudest moment at work this year?
The year is still young for me, but so far it would be all of the sales teams coming together and exceeding budget and 2024 performance for April this year!!
