5 November 2025
Meet Jorge Hazim, our dedicated Technical Support Supervisor for Security and Control Systems at Nice. Jorge embodies the perfect balance of technical expertise and human connection. For Jorge, every customer interaction is an opportunity to turn challenges into trust, strengthening relationships and elevating the Nice brand. Guided by a simple yet powerful principle: “treat people how you prefer to be treated”, he approaches every situation with empathy and respect. His journey is fueled by ownership, continuous growth, and a deep appreciation for the transparency and trust that define Nice’s culture. Outside of work, this global traveler, pizza enthusiast, and devoted parent finds inspiration in family, striving to lead by example and bring their very best to every day.
What’s one of the most rewarding parts of working in Technical Support at Nice?
One of the most rewarding parts of Technical Support at Nice – maybe the most rewarding one – is that we get to transform a troublesome interaction with a customer into meaningful opportunity to solidify trust and elevate our brand’s reputation.
How do you balance the technical and human sides of your role — solving problems while keeping customers at ease?
That is the easiest thing to do. I go back to a very basic principle: “Treat people how you prefer to be treated”. Respect and empathy go a long way with a frustrated costumer.
What advice would you give someone who wants to grow into a leadership role in support or customer service?
My advice is to master your craft, whether technical or administrative; volunteer to take on the hard tasks; stay “uncomfortable and hungry” and, most important of all, take absolute and total ownership of your responsibilities.
What’s something about the Nice culture that makes you proud to work here?
The transparency and trust from leadership are a source of great pride. This open communication makes us feel respected, directly fostering a culture of total ownership and accountability that drives company success.
What’s a fun fact or hidden talent that your coworkers might not know about you?
I have been to every continent at least once.
What’s your go-to comfort food after a long day of problem-solving?
Pizza. Unfortunately, I’m a New Yorker, so the local hunt for the perfect pizza is a real struggle.
Who or what inspires you most in your work and life?
My main inspiration in work and life is my family. I have very young children with impressionable eyes watching my every move. I have to be my absolute best, every single day.
