Privacy policy for the processing of personal data of users of the site pursuant to Article 13 of EU Regulation No. 679/2016 ("GDPR")

Nice S.p.A., pays the utmost attention to the security and confidentiality of the personal data of the users (hereafter, the "Users" or "User" in the singular) of the My Nice World app (hereafter, also only the "APP") downloaded to take advantage of the services available through the same and wishes to provide information regarding the processing of personal data.

1. Data controller

The data controller is Nice S.p.A., with registered office in Via Callalta 1 - 31046 Oderzo (TV) (hereinafter "Nice" or the "Company").

2. For which purposes Nice processes personal data

Through the APP, Nice collects exclusively the UDID (or Unique Device Identifier) of the mobile device on which the APP is downloaded, and for the sole purpose of guaranteeing the correspondence between the device associated with the alarm control panel and the user of the APP. The latter, in any case, does not collect any other information that would make it possible for Nice to trace the identity of the User. The legal basis for the processing of this data is the execution of a contract.

3. How we keep personal data secure

The Company takes appropriate security measures in order to ensure the protection, security, integrity and accessibility of Users' personal data. Appropriate security measures are designed to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, modification or destruction of personal data.

4. How long we keep personal data

The Company retains the User's personal data only for as long as necessary to achieve the stated purpose. In particular, the UDID will be available to the Company for as long as the APP is active on the User's device. This data will not be stored in Nice's databases so once the APP is uninstalled, this information will no longer be available to Nice.

5. Whit whom we may share personal data

Only duly authorized employees of the Company who act as system administrators may have access to personal data.

6. The rights regarding the protection of personal data and the right to lodge complaints before the Control Autority

Each User may exercise, where there are the prerequisites, the rights referred to in Articles 15 to 21 of the GDPR, by contacting the Company at the addresses indicated in paragraph 1. The exercise of these rights is free of charge and is not subject to formal constraints. It will be the responsibility of the Company to verify that the User is entitled to exercise the right and to reply, as a rule, within one month.
In the event that the User believes that the processing of his personal data is in violation of the provisions of the GDPR has the right to complain to the Data Protection Authority, using the references available on the website www.garanteprivacy.it, or to take legal action.
