On Tuesday, April 7th, Nice took part to the digital version of the final conference of the IoT Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano "Internet of Things: innovation starts from here". During the online event the results of the 2019-20 Research of the Internet of Things Observatory of the School of Management of the Politecnico di Milano were presented: a good opportunity to discuss, through the point of view of the main players in the sector, the current scenario of the Smart Home and the trends for the upcoming years.

Nice, a company that has always made innovation an element of its success on international markets, commented the needs of today's consumers and the need to have a technology that really connects people and their homes. The motto "Connected Living" could not be more appropriate.

For Nice the main needs of the end user today are 4: security, control, connectivity and personalization. The main market research (source: Statista) tells us that in 2030 every consumer will have an average of 15 devices connected remotely and the potential of the services associated with them will be higher and higher.

Motion sensors, indoor microcameras and outdoor cameras, smart locks, sensors for detecting smoke or water leaks and unwanted access signalling - like the solutions offered by the Nice group - refer to the need for greater control and security of our beloved and most important place: our home. Moreover, this integrated system is enhanced by the diffusion on the market of voice control technology, which Nice uses for its Home Automation, Smart Home and Home Security products.

Even in this international emergency of this period, Nice keeps looking ahead with an entrepreneurial spirit, always looking for innovative solutions that meet the needs of its customers.
